Well, we have returned from our 10-day ministry trip with the Vision Course and (as you’ve seen by the video) we’ve moved into a new space! There have been lots of changes around here!
Anyway, here are some photos from our ministry trip with VC. We were in Tulsa, OK ministering at the Tulsa Boiler Room, then to McKinney, TX to serve some VC supporters, and then to Dallas, TX to learn from a kingdom-minded business man named Ken Janke, and finally we finished up in Broken Bow, OK for a retreat/debrief. It was a very fun and stretching trip for us! We learned a lot and are so excited to jump into normal life here in KC now. 🙂
^ 10 people in a 15 passenger van… with enough luggage to make it incredibly cramped.
^ Some of our VC team-mates Jenny & Dayne.
^ The Prayer Tower at Oral Roberts University
^ Helping clean a storage unit in TX. Keith found his car.
^ Beautiful Texas fields.
^ Downtown TX was pretty impressive too!^ The VC team & Ken!
^ Luke standing on the spot JFK was assassinated.
^ Amazing quote by JFK:“We in this country, in this generation, are–by destiny rather than choice–the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in our time and for all time the ancient vision of “peace on earth, good will toward men.” That must always be our goal, and the righteousness of our cause must always underlie our strength. For as was written long ago: “except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.””
^ Boating day on the retreat!
^ Luke was a wild man – on the jet ski and the tube all day!
^ Our other teammate Jacob
^ Beautiful sunsets on the lake
^ So peaceful.
^ I learned to skip rocks!
^ Matchy matchy.
^ We returned back to KC and said goodbye to our attic! So sad!
