After almost three weeks in beautiful Phoenix, we made our return to Kansas City. Our time spent in Arizona was really busy, but overall very nice. Although it was packed, we got to see our families, go hiking a lot, eat delicious Mexican food, and play a lot of Settlers of Catan. Over the trip though, Lauren’s grandma passed away – which has been very hard for us. We are so happy because we know she is not in pain anymore and she’s with the Lord, but death is always hard to cope with. Please be praying for us. I (Lauren) am flying out on Thursday to attend the funeral, then returning Friday afternoon.
Here are a bunch of random photos from our trip! We can’t remember the order they all go in – so bear with us!

We just happened to be flying in on the snow-blizzard and record-low-temps weekend, so that was fun. We got stuck in the snow, and had to spend the night in Topeka! This was the weird hobbit/dwarf door from our hotel room.
That’s all for now, folks!
