Luke and I went on a huge road trip over the last two weeks time, and we basically crossed the entire country in a little Toyota Matrix . We hit about 14 states and covered about 3,200 miles. Phew.
Literally, we feel a bit like old Bilbo right now after coming back from a long adventure. So naturally, we’ve needed some time to rest and get back in the swing of life.
However, we wanted to start sharing some of the trip photos with you all. There’s about half a billion of them, and they’re all our of order, but we’ll just got with it. Pardon our disorganization.
These photos are from the first leg of our trip. We flew into Pittsburg to visit some of Luke’s family, and then drove down to Charlotte to see his Aunt and Uncle. We had such a fun time hanging out with everyone. It was gloriously rainy, we went sailing, we ate lots of good food (and one too many donuts), and had lots of adventures. Enjoy!
^ Our noble Captain.
^ The bull statues.
^ Birthday lunch with Aunt Kathy & Uncle Mark!
^ Guess who lives in Charlotte! Hannah! So good to see her. 🙂
^ Rained out of a walk.
^ Sleepy baby. 90% of the road trip involved this.
